De Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 is een veelzijdige camera die geschikt is voor traditionele én online omroepen. Met een “3-in-1”-ontwerp kan de camera worden gebruikt als een HD of 4K productiecamera, 4K studiocamera of een 6K digitale filmcamera. De camera is compatibel met bestaande lenzen en batterijen en kan opnemen op verschillende mediadragers, zoals SD-kaarten, CFast 2.0-kaarten of externe USB-schijven. De camera ondersteunt standaard bestandsformaten zoals H.265, ProRes en Blackmagic RAW, wat hem breed inzetbaar maakt in verschillende werkprocessen.

De URSA Broadcast G2 biedt uitzonderlijke prestaties bij weinig licht dankzij een geavanceerde sensor met een dynamisch bereik van 13 stops, en is uitgerust met verwisselbare lensvattingen, wat zorgt voor flexibiliteit bij het gebruik van verschillende lenzen. De ingebouwde optische ND-filters zijn ontworpen om lichtniveaus te beheersen en kleuren te behouden, wat vooral handig is voor broadcast-omstandigheden.

Blackmagic Camera OS includes a Media Page for professional media management and viewing metadata information. Sort clips by duration, frame rate, resolution, codec, media slot, timecode, scene or upload status, plus search all clips, private storage or just clips within specific projects. Preview clips with duration, timecode and file name displayed and use the scrubber for fluid, precise frame control. Select clips to upload and share, and delete clips with a confirmation warning. You can also select multiple clips to batch upload, batch delete or playback in a custom timeline.
